VP Operations
Simran is a first-year MBA student at The Wharton School from Mumbai, India, majoring in Finance and Operations. Prior to Wharton, she was a Senior Consultant at EY-Parthenon in New York. She worked on product, technology and commercial diligence for private equity clients conducting M&A and value creation deals in the SaaS and tech-enabled service sector.
During her time at Wharton, Simran has been exploring the world of private equity and emerging markets, her interests fueled by her involvement in Wharton’s PE/VC club and the Wharton India Economic Forum. Simran will be pursuing an internship at a mid-market PE fund this summer, with hopes to enter the investing world full time post-graduation. Simran graduated from Tufts University in Boston in 2020, with a B.S. in Quantitative Economics. Outside of class, Simran is passionate about tennis, meditation, travel and community-building, specifically having worked on feminine hygiene improvement initiatives in the past.
